Very polished, good concept. Physics are a bit iffy, clouds in the background add some visual confusion.

3D-xelu responds:

Thanks :D

Sort of like Doodle Jump

So it's kind of like Doodle Jump in reverse? Not too original, but I guess well executed and still fun (not to mention free!).

Er...

Make your own games, please. If you want to show off your Madness Interactive mod, find a web community that gives a crap.

Interesting concept...

Interesting concept, but I don't think you pulled it off all that well. There's too much visual precision involved. Maybe you could employ like a 'hotter colder' thing, so the player at least knows where they stand. So, say, give us five lives and give the screen a red (too high) or blue (too high) tint, and make it more accessible to the everyday user.

Otherwise, nice job, you've built a fine game with an interesting concept. 6/10

Nice Parkour...

...but this was just a parkour show-off video tacked on to a flash 'game', therefor, sorry, but you FAIL. Go put this up on youtube, I'm sure it would be more well received there...

Cool, but improve the sound quality...

It was pretty cool, but all I could ask for is greatly improved sound quality on the guitar, it just sounds really weird...

Lefloic responds:

Thanks for the review.
Your right for the sound quality, looking back now that it's finished, it's kind of echo-ish.
If I do a new and improved version, my sound will be top notch.

Thank you

No Music? C'mon!

If you think music and sound adds nothing but file size, then you know NOTHING about this sort of thing, do you? You can make a fun game, but music and sound is the heart and soul of any game, movie, or book (yes, I said book).

So, yeah, it would've been a LOT more enjoyable if it had music/sound, oh, and fix the wall jumping, it's just too frustrating =/

3/10 (minus 5 points for not having music/proper wall jumping mechanics).

PCpr0gramer responds:

Although you raise invalid points my complaint lies not in your inadequate argument but the fact that you complain about your inability to play the game well. Learn how to wall jump and complain about bugs if there are any. Don't complain because your learning curve was vertical. Books have no sound track, your argument holds no water. Epic fail. Thanks for the feedback.

Meh...

It's just a pathetic attempt at trying to 'add something new' to Tetris. Next time you rehash Tetris (which I don't recommend anyone does), add some notable new features, especially ones that fit smoothly with the original formula.

Controls were sloppy, when I press left or right, randomly it goes double. The music wasn't that good, so it didn't even loop, so I had no morale boost throughout the game.

So if you were to EVER make another Tetris rehash, here's some advice:

1.Fix the controls

2.Fix the music

3.Make it more polished

4.Add some notable new features that blend with the original formula.

5.Don't make another Tetris remake; Tetris is a fine game as it is, and another remake is not what we need.

Epic!

This could possibly be the greatest game of all time! However, it's pretty challenging; I could only just get past the first boss! You'll have to work on making the sequel more accessible to a wider range of people!

Also, to those wondering where you can get the game's (epic) end credits song, there's a link to it underneath the names of the authors, in the upper-left corner.

Anyway, 5/5 10/10! Truly Game of the Year material, bravo!

Well, the wait feels shorter now...

I'd have to agree with previous reviewers, this is just like Crayon Physics in Flash. However, you've done a great job making this game. The art style is pleasing, the game runs smoothly, the music is just calm and cool, and the gameplay is actually FUN, a characteristic most games these days are missing (replacing 'fun' with puzzles, violence, and pretty graphics).

So while this may be Crayon Physics in Flash, it's still an awesome game with an original concept that's never been done before in Flash. And you know what? Your full game came out before Crayon Physics in complete form. :P
