Very polished, good concept. Physics are a bit iffy, clouds in the background add some visual confusion.

Thanks :D

Cool, but improve the sound quality...

It was pretty cool, but all I could ask for is greatly improved sound quality on the guitar, it just sounds really weird...

Lefloic responds:

Thanks for the review.
Your right for the sound quality, looking back now that it's finished, it's kind of echo-ish.
If I do a new and improved version, my sound will be top notch.

Thank you

No Music? C'mon!

If you think music and sound adds nothing but file size, then you know NOTHING about this sort of thing, do you? You can make a fun game, but music and sound is the heart and soul of any game, movie, or book (yes, I said book).

So, yeah, it would've been a LOT more enjoyable if it had music/sound, oh, and fix the wall jumping, it's just too frustrating =/

3/10 (minus 5 points for not having music/proper wall jumping mechanics).

PCpr0gramer responds:

Although you raise invalid points my complaint lies not in your inadequate argument but the fact that you complain about your inability to play the game well. Learn how to wall jump and complain about bugs if there are any. Don't complain because your learning curve was vertical. Books have no sound track, your argument holds no water. Epic fail. Thanks for the feedback.

Needs some improvement.

I think this time, you should make it not-so-flashy, or something, so it runs faster on more PC's (mines a piece-o-crap), because it should be much smoother! The menu interface could use polishing up, maybe smooth and simple style, maybe even have all of the menus in one, using some kind of animation to switch between sections. My biggest problem was that songs got really confusing sometimes, so (and you can ignore this idea 'cause it's so drastic), make the whole game one handed.
I would rival you're game with these features, but I don't have enough money to buy Flash. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

XceeD responds:

Thanks for the review. I tried to lower the quality to lowest, guess that didn't work xD! Well, I'll try to find a way to make it work better... Perhaps a disable particles option.

About the songs being one handed... The point isn't to do that though. It should be 2 hands like playing a piano. Perhaps I should put a tutorial mode and a practice mode.

Could use polishing up

This game was okay, but it could really use some polishing up and better design. For one, the instruction panel blocks the start button, which leaves people confused at first. The second thing is that you have to hit the notes at the line, which is also confusing.
In my opinion, I think the graphics should be flashier and more polished, the game should have much more music choices, and you should be able to preview songs before you play them.
Otherwise, this game was okay and it's worth checking out.

XceeD responds:

I'll add all you said for next release! Your ideas sound really good!

Awsome!!

I was having second thoughts about this game but the combination of the graphical style, the music, and overall the humor, made this game very pleasing.
I suggest you make a sequel with some different modes and (slightly) better graphics and animation. Also I think it needs a jump key/mouse click.

TheGameHomepage responds:

Thank you for your suggestions, they are some great ideas!

OK

This game was ok for your first!

Recomendations: Make the framerate better and polish the motion blur so maybe the tail is blurry. Also, it would be great to have mutch more polished up graphics and maybe even a song selection.
One problem, those black things moved around too fast!

Jimtopia responds:

Thx for your review, suggestions noted!
